I live out in the boonies, and recently my internet provider went down for 6 days straight... (charter is my provider)  I wasn't worried until the second day that I tried to access chess.com with my PDA phone and couldn't get past the login screen. My PDA phone works on several other gaming websites that I play games on, but not chess.com.  I have a brand new phone with the latest mobile windows software on it.

I am curious to know if there are any future plans for making this site compatible, since I lost the second round of the tournament (from timing out)that I have been waiting for nearly 6 months to start second round[1st Chess.com Tournament (1001-1400)]

please make an iphone app! chess.com does currently work on the iphone's safari browser, but it's very slow to load and crashes often. With iphone being so popular worldwide, imagine how many people would play. I imagine you could probably even charge a small fee for the app. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Maybe you could try downloading a different browser for your phone.

just to say it works really well on my nokia N95. However, each game seems to require the download of about 250KB for some reason. But it works well apart from that.

I use my ipod touch (same software as the iphone) and I am able to play games on the version of safari it comes with - however, it does seem to need to download quite a bit of data each time.  I think this not a problem with chess.com, though, but perhaps that the mobile version of safari does not cache very much to save space and memory.  Also, if there are boards or puzzles in the comments to a post, it never loads them.

If chess.com releases an itunes app, I for one will definitely purchase it.
