I'm playing, winning, he suddenly disconnects and will ' resign in [Countdown].' then I spend the next 4 minutes of my 5 minute game trying to reconnect. He wins on time, but could never win in a real game.
People are scamming on my Chess connection, your server is ^*@#ed up!

What I want to know is, with everyone having bad connections and losing points because of the bad server, who is it that's getting these points? I mean, someone has to be benefitting here. Or is it that Erik and Staff are just hoarding rating points? ;)

dont know what is happening here, but losing and winning games on disconnections is not fun.
doesn't have to be the end of the world to be a signficant problem with the server. all the accusations of cheating are overreactions, of course.

Most of the terrible losses due to disconnections are blitz games such as the OPs. Little thought and even less effort have been wasted. If it's happening on a regular basis, it's probably not chess.com's fault unless the problem is somewhat universal, which it isn't.
Why am I getting frozen out when it is my opponents internet disconnecting, then suddenly when the game is over my clock is gone and this lame player just took my points, he was getting owned and something happened... Chess.com you corporate pig! Screw you.
