I have seen many  people on the tourni points leaderboard who havn't partisipated in any tournaments

According to his profile, he's played over 4000 games in nearly 250 tournaments. He also has numerous 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes,

Maybe that was last year, because in the 2013 points leaderboard it says that  he hasn't finished any tournies yet(in 2013).
