I found out after my previous post it's probably related to accounts that sign in with linked authentication (Google, Facebook) and not an associated password. I believe you'll need a password assigned to the account to change the username. If you contact Support directly using the option in the menu they should be able to help

You might be able to do it by using the Forgot password option when logged out but if that doesn't work you'll need to contact Support directly
When I try to change my username I have a message saying that changing username should not have any extra fields.

I've never seen a similar post. Can you provide a screenshot without your new name showing?
