People who complain about people who don’t know proper notation.

There is nothing quite so annoying as “notation police” who always jump at the first chance to correct people who don’t use “proper” chess notation in the forums. Sheesh. Lighten up nerds!

The worst is those who ask questions and expect answers although they don't even know proper notation.

How old are you dude? 4? My 5 years old niece learned notation in a week.

She sounds really smart. Must be a blast at parties.

Could you clarify your complaint? Are you referring to descriptive vs. algebraic notation, or something else?

DeirdreSkye

Notation is as vital for chess players as are letters to writers.

If you don't know the letters you can't be a writer , if you don't know notation , you can't be considered a chess player.
