People who don't resign

To answer #80, not resigning (which is the topic of this thread) does not necessarily equal stalling. You can play on in a position until checkmate, without resigning. But stalling means you don't play moves to waste your opponent's time.

Yes, stalling is annoying and an immature way to 'admit defeat'. Conversely, not resigning isn't rude/disrespectful because your opponent has every right to play on.

Can you pls stop complaining and just win the position if its so winning? Its so annoying seeing players complaining about their opponent not resigning, like dude your opponent HAS the right to play on. And if you don't like that it then maybe chess isn't for you.

Found the guy who wiggles his king back and forth until they get mated.

everyone who is down 2 or more pawns in material and doesn't resign is praying for stalemate

If he is winning on time but is losing then he can hope to win on time but if he is losing a lot on time then he should resign

Online, I prefer to play through checkmate. If anything, it is good ending practice for OTB tournaments.

The most childish, weakling man mentality is the uttey arrogant,, beta male petulant "how dare you not quit!? Are you serious? If you were that good, you wouldn't have to ask. You would just mate or not blunder to a stalemate when your opponent still has a pawn left.

Man up and play. Want to beat me? Then BEAT me.

Resigning is for cowards.

No matter what you think of their decision, you have to pay respect for them as an opponent

The worst is when after making you check mate a lonesome king, they ask for a rematch.. (are we playing chess or are we hoarding points?!)

one or the other.
