if you mean by online uscf and then normal otb uscf then yes there is a bit of a huge gap between them but if your referring to Chess.com ratings and OTB its not that high. i think anyone can be around my level online but simply be 2000 OTB though then again i might be titled one day just not yet. it just takes some hard work and consistency so i think for many it be surprising to see a 2500 rated player with no title irl but for me its just another grind which is possible
People who play tournaments, is your online and tournament ratings differ by a lot?

I watched a chess streamer's game who started playing chess during covid lockdown and recently started playing tournaments. His rating on chess.com was around 1500 but in tournament it was 800. It's a huge, surprising difference. So I wanted to know what are your experiences? I apologize of not knowing the streamer's name.
