People who wait so long to make a move

The time limit on games on this site is measured in days. If you have to leave now, just come back tomorrow and finish the game. Why do you think you'll lose points?

Oh no! 30 minutes! And you have 24 hours to make a move...
...and there was no mate in two in your game...

Well said, why are these people playing multi-day per move games? Are they so dumb they didn't notice they weren't signing up for blitz chess?

here is the solution to slow players. Play more games! Trust me if you end up with as many games as me you'll start wishing everyone played slower :)

Just because the know that if they wait long enough they wont lose, i have a guy in check mate in two moves, he has no way out! its been 30mins and he hasn't moved, his name i shall soon add.. point is i have to go now! so what i lose my points!! what a wanker
I'd say that critical positions, such as a possible 2 move mate, is the moment when you should spend a lot of time on your next move. You can't fault a player for spending the time needed to find a way out of a checkmate.
As has been said before, you agreed to the terms of the game, now live with them.

If you don't like to wait play blitz chess! Many people like myself have hectic work schedules and find it extremely difficult to find the time to just sit and play.
