The site won't maintain two versions of profile code long term. As of now, all members should have the new version and it's very likely the old code will be completely removed in the near future.
Hey everyone,
So… Chess.com rolled out the new profile UI and honestly? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 😭
It might look modern, but it totally lost the personality and good vibes of the old layout.
Here’s what’s missing now:
The clean, simple, user-friendly design
The fun of seeing profile views and followers — they just removed them, like why?? 😔
That cozy “profile page” feeling… now it’s all just stats and boxes
Instead of feeling like a home, our profiles feel like spreadsheets now.
This post is a petition asking Chess.com to:
Bring back the old profile UI, or
At least let us switch between the old and new versions
