Petition to add a QUICK ACTION for chess960 fischerrandom games.

Was thrilled at the popularization of chess960 recently when top players like Magnus and Fabi competed at the Freestyle G.O.A.T. tournament. Chess960 definitely saw a surge in activity after that. I would no longer have to wait 5 or 10 minutes to get a 960 game going on chess.com; the game started almost instantly after requesting a game.

Well, unfortunately, I have noticed the number of available 960 games start to wane again. And even though I feel it's natural for this to happen after some time has passed after such a big tournament, chess.com could help keep this awesome variant of chess going strong by simply making it more visible to players.

All I am humbly asking is that they add a quick action button on the screen that follows when you click on "PLAY". The option for chess960 is somewhat buried under the Custom Game screen, when it deserves its own option on the previous screen.

Does anyone agree? What are your thoughts?

The issue I see with Chess960 is that there is no way (that I could find, at least), for people to play Chess960 on mobile. Sure, there are various public arenas or tournaments, but that's about it. I couldn't find a Chess960 game mode on mobile at all. That probably explains the lower amount of opponents, as everybody would rather grind their rapid/blitz/bullet ratings in the mall while waiting for their annoying wives to finish shopping (for legal reasons that's a joke), rather than turn on their laptop for a rather interesting yet very confusing chess mode.

It's on mobile through the Custom option, just like on the site.

If that isn't proof that 960 needs more visibility, I don't know what is!!! ^^^

If Masters play Live Chess 960 in chess.com TV, that will help it's popularity.
