I'm new on the web. I have a question, how can I open a pgn files, and where on the web can I find games played by Chessmasters?

You could download ChessBase Light - that can read PGN files:

Just open the pgn files using note pad, thats what I doo.

I use Arena ( http://www.playwitharena.com/)
It is a verry powerfull chess program,
It can use 3 chess engines at the same time, and there lots of enignes for it.

It also loads pgn Files. You can safe your own plays here as PGN and then replay them. As its nice to press the analyse button and do a discover all the moves you missed (enable under options > chessboard the arrows for this to see).
