PGN Viewer

Hi, all...

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place or if this has been discussed 100 times and I just didn't see it.

I'm new to online chess and very new to recording my games and actually trying to study them.  PGN files are a new concept to me.

Can somebody suggest a good way to save and organize my games?  Do I need a PGN Viewer?  Any recording and organizing tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Popular question judging by the 50 or so previous threads.  "Search the forums" by using the box in the upper right hand corner for "PGN files" to access the archives.  Good luck and have fun.

After each game I save the PGN file to a text file that I'm keeping all my PGN's in.  I can copy & paste it into Chessmaster XI for analysis.

A  pgn viewer & editor,or go to chess.com,resources,downloads,then go tp the dropdown menu where it says category & select pgn utilities.I just recently started working with pgn files & love it.

There's also SCID the chess database freeware.  It can read pgn files and has a ton of other cool features.
