I am no master at this sport. Rather i am a noob. But i find utmost joy in playing the sport. In chess, i believe one must think along the lines of philosophers like Schopenhauer or Camus. You do what you do and you forget about things i.e. the consequence is as presented to you by your brain. You have thought of the consequence already and have thus played the move. It is your will and representation of your ideas. You may lose a game, you may win one. So it is pointless to apply meaning. You have lost it, it is over, it is pointless to apply meaning to it now. anyone agree?

Idk checkmates are kinda fun. But when you lose you are presented an opportunity to learn, & slay your ego a little bit to boot.

It can indeed be liberating to approach chess, and perhaps other aspects of life, with this mindset. It encourages a sense of acceptance and a focus on personal agency.
