I've got a bike you can ride it if yoyo like. It's got a bell a streamer and lots of things to make it llook good. I'd give it to you if I could but I borrowed it.

One of these days I'm going to cut you into a thousand little pieces.

If this thread gathers enough steam, sooner or later Piper At The Gates Of Dawn...Saucerful Of Secrets...Umma Gumma will be mentioned.

Damn, I forgot to put Animals on the bench.

What do you mean what about Dark Side Of The Moon ?

Favorite song for me would be either Any Colour You Like or SOYCD 1 & 2.

I've been looking for a copy of Metropolis that Queen did the soundtrack for.

The new one, with the missing scenes?

There's a version on Netflix, but I assume it's the original.  I can't remember the last time I've had enough contiguous free time that I'd be able to sit through it so I've never taken the plunge and watched it.

I've always viewed this as a companion peice to Careful with that Axe Eugene (whether it's meant to be or not...).

I saw this about 25 years ago. So I could not say if it had missing scenes. It was colorized though and had a soundtrack from Queen. Very nice. Almost as good as Flash Gordon.

Senior-Lazarus_Long

Right now I'm watching the 2001 Pink Floyd.

It's an OK movie. Like so many 'progressive' movies, like the original Star Wars trilogy, it's meaning and impressiveness has been lost to time and advances in filmmaking and movie story telling.

Yes, yes, yes a thousand times yes.  (Though I think technically it's SOYCD 1-5 and SOYCD 6-9)

Has anyone here seen Floyd live?  I have but it was post Roger Waters, so does that count?

I almost saw them in '87 or '88 but got the Flu the morning I was supposed to drive to see them. I think this was just after or about the time Roger Waters left. I really wanted to see the pig balloons.

Incredible how no one mentioned  barrett, piper, saucerful, umma ... are you for real?

Great stuff, groundbreaking even.  Acid rock at it's best, but outshone by post-Barrett Floyd I'm afraid.
