1500 lichess is below beginner.
I got my a** handed to me by a below 1500 rapid on lichess.com on my first game there (they had thousand of games rapid so it was established)... lichess is not so weak... I went on a lil streak but lost a 1650s game to a person with a "Provisional rating"...

Yeah, I saw that topic when it was first made. I didn't feel like explaining it to the OP... turns out the OP is a troll, so that was a good decision.
@llama47 in lichess.com your percentile is going to significantly lower than in chess.com... and its not like they are some noobs... rapid 1500s is pretty decent me thinks there...

1000 is possible if you work hard enough
Improving 100 points in a month would be really great, and only possibly with hard work and a low rating.
If I worked hard for 1 year, maybe I could improve 100 points... but maybe not.

I'm Currently rated 800. How far do you think I can get in a month of chess? I geniunely feel like I might be able to get to something like 1300 in a month. (Yes it seems far fetched but my first thought was aiming for 1500)
I bet ya can get to 1100 maybe 1k but if ya grind I’m sure 1100 will be easy to get and make sure to study openings

Yep, I'm also aiming for 2000 in puzzles possibly. (I'm already at 1500)
Based on my limited experience as an 800s live chess player only, 1300 that fast seems like a pretty big jump. It seems like the further I get the tougher the competition and you'll run into some players on their way up that are a lot better than their current 700s rating. Good luck, hope it works out for you.

When you say dedicate a month what does that mean?
If you actually do challenging tactics, study endgames and openings for like 4 hours a day and also play hours of rapid hell the sky is the limit.. 800 to anywhere from 1100 to 1400 could be doeable... But few people have capacity to actually spend 9 hours a day on chess... I actually like studying but I can only bring myself to study max 1 hour of openings and tactics (ussualy like 40 minutes each)... Dunno... maybe im lazy... after some studying I feel like I'm gonna forget what I previously studied if I study more... Read the book called "Simple Chess" it's about strategy and structures and stuff .. free pdf online
Don’t do what I did in my first two months of chess which was just play a lot. I quickly shot up from 500 to 1280 but it only got me so far.
Now I am still making up for lost time and also stripping poor habits that I picked up.
6 months after rehauling my game, I appreciate absorbing the material, steady improvement and growing in all areas of chess.
I was curious to see where my game was at and jumped into the arenas on this site and playing pool on another site; I was pleasant to be competitive at the 1600 level.
Basically in hindsight, go with the long term plan.
Will definitely make sure to keep good habits, and yes I've been doing more puzzles and opening study than anything really, but I might switch focus to endgame study soon, since mine is a bit weak.
