i am not in mood of studing books and comlicated tactics or so. on the other hand no strong player accept my challenge.i believe that playing against low rated players than my self is waste of time.what is the solution to provide a good condition so that i can play against strong playeras well as this i want to know which one is more usefull for a low intermediate player? study or play?

how can you not like tactics training?

Morteza_mz86

coz most of the are artificial. more importantly we just see the current situation. we dont know previous moves and dont know about the plans he/she is going to make

ok it seems your blitz games are good...but remember, by playing with strong people, you cant get strong "Fast" because you just lose the games...but playing with low rated people gives you the benefit of using those tactics that you've studied and learn to idenefy a player's weaknesess easily and quickly so when your rating get higher, you can play quite an awesome game against those you want to play with. It's just the matter of time and your workموفق باشی

about the last Quote: that's exactly distint between you and them...they can see several moves ahead in a game because they know tons of tactics plus their own experience ...

Yes, you get a random position and find the best moves, one of the most fun ways to 'study' chess, making badass moves.

Think about it like this, how can you give a smothered mate or a pin or a skewer if you don't know how?? You have to know the techniques and when you know them, you will definitely start looking for them in games.

I can go over your games, or you can go over mine, and you'll find out that there are tons of tactics we missed, now how can you see them next time? By doing tactics training.

TT's focus on solving problems quickly is a real problem for me, precisely because the position pops up on the board without any prior familiarity with the developing position such as would happen in a live game.

metter  of time means that you can not hit 2000 rating withine 2 months except you had played chess for several years before here...for example: I'm here for two months, first I found out I can beat any guy at my rating but my openings need a little work so I learnt some openings and I realised  that I have to play many games to be an expert on using them and also my middle games had to be fix too, so dont worry at all just study and play more games...I recomend you to play with an engine like chess titans in widows 7, the benefits are since you're playing with computer, it can take the most advantage of your weaknesess so you can find those points of flaws easily and cover them...Good luck

but i defeatded +2000 players several times in chessmaster!!! it is much better to play agains real players. maybe the best way is to gain points and increase rating so that they( strong players ) accept my challenges.

thank u all

PLAVIN81

YOU Shoul play against a combination of all ratings-That is being fair to all players

Such a horrible attitude... My advice; quit chess.

azziralc

It is better to try both of them.

Morteza_mz86

Why Quit ?!!! if u have a piece of advice the morality is that say it in a good way by giving reason. thanks

If playing lower rated players are such a waste of time, then you should be able to beat them frequently enough that you can raise your rating. You compain about not being able to play against a higher players but are not willing to play against lower rated players yourself?

Fear_ItseIf

Its a waste of time for me to play against players lower than mysef.
No strong players will accept my challenges.

See the flaw in this?
Just play lower players, win, raise your rating and play higher.

Anyway you can go into live ches (or online) and set the rating thing to like -50 +400 or something and always play people higher than you. so whats the problem?

bobbyDK

If you only play games. you end being good to play against them you play against at you level right now and you may never reach key positions that you can learn a lot from.

if you only study you may learn a lot but you may not know how to apply the knowledge you gain in game.

therefore a combination is the key to learn more.

it is never a waste of time to play lower rated players, if you can manage to identify their weakness and beat them consistingly.
you can even learn a lot by exploiting their weekness.

rooperi

Higher rateds wont play against you, because they think it's a waste of time.

bronsteinitz

Rooperi, next time when you list the famous Belgians, please include Rubens (painter), adolphe Sax (yeah that thing) and especially Jan Olieslagers who was the proud owner of a plane when Germany invaded in 1914. He mounted a gun and singlehandedly defended the air against the invaders.

The Mossad seems to have eliminated the israelian thread by the way...
