Play white or black

I have been always asking myself what is better to play. White of black ? White lets you go first and black lets you see what opening they are using.
I asked this question because people could use it for daily chess.
Any opinions???

Black. As black you don't have to burden yourself with choosing the opening (and the fate of the game style).
