YES!!! I have always thought this. I almost always play c4 when I can. Since I’m a kings Indian attack player, I often do play c4 early in the game😁

I disagree. c4 as a first move can be just fine. I’m not much into the English, but I’d be fine playing 1.c4 and then just transposing into a d4 game
