My reply to the OP was merely imploring him to explore, I'm not a "tech-head" and my method is simple..."exhaustion". It works a treat, and you end up in some unexpected places.

Your post has shown me a new trick... before, I was opening multiple copies of chess.com from my desktop... i.e. when comparing game position to game explorer.

You just got a gentle ribbing because the words fitted so neatly, nothing personal mate.

I think enough had been said in this thread to help alleviate the plight of beginners in chess.com.

I believe that the site, our site, my favorite site, will further improve. Thanks to all good meaning players and enthusiasts for their inputs.

Another thing, can we use a standard chess notation and do away with the others? And if I may suggest, the algebraic notation?

You tried dozens of words in the search bar? That is very hard to believe. I typed in 'notation' and two articles popped up.

If you are willing to put in this little effort to solve your problem, why would you waste this much effort complaining about it?
