Hi there, I started a week ago to learn the rules of this game, I'm not good at all, but I'd love to be able to play a good game. If one of you has some free time to play with me and write me when I make mistakes, that would be great. Thank you.

I would recommend watching John Bartholomew's Chess Fundamentals Series, and also watch The Chess and Scholastic Center of St. Louis on YouTube. I have only been playing for 3 months and can already see the results. It is good to first learn the relative values of the pieces as well so you don't trade a queen for a knight. In the beginning, I would recommend longer time controls, and focus on not hanging any pieces, take your time, and do tactics either here on chess.com, or on chesstempo.com, because games at our lower levels are determined by missed tactics.
