Looking for  chess advice since I'm pretty much self taught, can't really learn from here unless upgrade. Recently tried Italian game but have no idea how to continue properly the next few moves. May one of the chess gods enlighten me. Greatly appreciate anything (basic strategy recommended opening, etc)

Opening in general isn’t as complicated as it seems, I’ve been playing for awhile, definitely wouldn’t call myself a chess god but all I suggest is keeping in mind that the beginning isn’t all about pawns. Activating special pieces like knights and bishops is super important for a good opening.

Thanks for the advice, like I said everything is helpful. To me anybody is a god lol. Anyways I have been using knights quite a bit since the Italian relies on them, but I realize I am relying too much on pawns when I'm black.
