Plus score against Anand

Only four active top players have a plus score against Anand:

Aronian has +6 -2 =18

Caruana +2 -1 =6

Nakamura +3 -0 =8

Wang Hao +2 -1 =0

Among players from the past Kasparov is one of the few with a plus score, but that one was the bigger, 15-3 in wins.

What are the stats for Kramnik and Carlaen?

Some of those minus scores are from long ago, Carlsen's latest loss against Volokitin was more than 7 years ago, against Leko he is 2-0 the last five years, and against Anand 2-0 the last three years. The same thing with Kramnik's minus scores against Kamsky and Karpov, his latest losses against them came in the middle of the 1990s.

Firebrand, may be thats because lastely  Anand is not taking tournaments that seriously.

No not sandbagging... he became father 2 years back and it is assumed that his attention was not totally on tournament chess... ButI guess you are right, this is just an assumption. :)
