We're excited to announce that everyone's favorite chess tournament for amateurs is back!
Happening April 29 to May 2, PogChamps 6 brings twelve celebrity creators and pro athletes together in the world's funniest, most unique chess competition featuring $100K in prizes.

The event comes in a condensed, fast-paced format with a Round-robin Group Stage, followed by a Championship Bracket + Consolation Bracket Knockout Stage, guaranteed with the highest average of blunders per game anyone has ever seen in any event of such magnitude.

Group Stage: Round-robin (show details)

The 12 participants are divided into two groups of six players each
Each group contests a round-robin
Each match consists of two games
Time control: 10+5
If a match ends in a tie, players keep contesting 3+5 games until there's a winner. The player who had the highest accuracy score throughout the regular match starts with White
Players earn 3 points for an outright match win, 2 points for winning a match in tiebreaks, 1 point for losing a match in tiebreaks, and 0 points for losing a match outright
The top three players from each group are seeded into the Championship Bracket of the Knockout stage
The bottom three players from each group are seeded into the Consolation Bracket of the Knockout stage

Knockout Stage: Championship Bracket & Consolation Bracket (show details)

Each bracket features six players
The top two players get a bye to the semifinals
Each bracket is a single-elimination knockout
All matches consist of two games
Time control: 10+5
