For poker I mean no limit texas hold 'em. For baccarat I mean the game with unlimited free hands and the dragon bonus (10to1, 30to1)

All I can comment on is the comparison between poker and chess. Both games require delicate skill and a detached zen-like cool in order to play effectively
In the other two game you need to have a detached zen-like cool and skills to play as well

@tigerprowl, I got out of mtg after revised as what you are saying is probably true but if you have wealth of cards and create a bunch of equal decks with fun theme's so no one has to spend all nite on deck creation it can be a great party game, even for those that have in fact kissed a girl...
I was one of the highest ranked brazilian players of mtg, and the game is very good, but WotC ruined it. It can't happen with chess or poker, so, I tried to migrate.
Well, it can happen with poker if you play limit poker or the tournament host(s) makes stupid house rules. With chess it can happen as well like the stupid rules for the millionaire chess tournament coming up...
