-0.30 (Houdini terms) in serious modern correspondence chess means absolutely nothing. And in any case, the opening is not the decisive part of the game.
Recently I blundered a pawn at a correspondence game against a 2300+ opponent as early as move seven (I carelessly mixed the move order), and twenty moves later, I am seriously considering playing for a win...
You don't have to play by email, or even notify the staff, just set up an unrated game. As long as both players agree (and this topic has plenty evidence of that) it's ok.
In my engine games here I just include "unrated engune game" in the game name.

I do not know how to set up an unrated game. So please the 5 set one up?
I am adding NM JMB2010 as the 6th player.
I have never played a game where I set up. I am so stupid i do not know how to set up such a game.

I just changed my privacy setting to allow others to challenge me to a game. please only the 6. and unrated.
- Challenge the player, either from his homepage or hovering over his name here in this topic, and choose challenge
- On the page that comes up, change rated YES to NO
- Click the Show more options box
- You can choose your start position from the list
- Enter a game name, one that reflects it's an engine game
unrated game started with NM JMB2010 but it says he is on vacation.
Simply go to this link: http://www.chess.com/echess/create_game
And then type the player's name to challenge. After, in the same page, you'll see 'Show Game Options', that you can use to personalize the game, as days per move, rated/no, etc. But i couldn't find the Ponziani as a starting opening there.

Yekatrinas what you say makes sense but I am stupid enough to try and do better than that. I am going to try and win all 5 games!
So with my big mouth I will try to do much better than to have a slight plus after 25 or so moves. If I get beat or someone draws then that is a very big zap against me and the statement of this forum!
