I can't, other than what I think is an expression of "Steve". I know some Japanese from time in Jujitsu and Aikido, but it is so topic-specific that it is of no practical use outside a dojo.

I am all for innovation, but if it is not 5-7-5 with a kigo, why not just call it a poem? Why the pretense of calling it something it is not?
If someone writes a 300 page work of ficiton, calling it a "short story" is not change, nor is it poetic license. It is just incorrect!
