Beautiful Knight Antonio. Why don't you do a post with more pics of this knight and the rest of the set?

Thanks, goodknightmike! I posted it earlier here:

I love the romanian knights. I think it's my favorite set. I don't own one and have never seen one for sale (that I can afford)

I wish they were more widespread.

Nice ...  love this thread.

Really? No one's gonna mention the Dubrovnik knights?  They're some of the best/tough to carve knights in the world.

At least the Olympiad version ones.

nullMy entry Derby Knights, boxwood and ebony. I have a Dubrovnik set from HOS and another on order from Noj. but these are more intricately detailed and for now my favorites. The unfinished knight photo just below is part of a set I'm having custom made, there's no definitive name to the set. An innovative creation by a wood turner named Conrad. It has some European type design to it and will have a 4" king. The knight was carved from 1 solid piece of turning stock no glued parts in this design. I like the way the mane of the horse came out, fading towards the base.

The gaze of this Knight speaks to me.

Hi Arno, It seems to be a Romanian Knight. Chessbazaar is selling it. Have a look here.

Hope it helps!
