Hello, everyone. Here I have a question, is there any real 'maximum' a player can reach? Like I don't mean once you're 40, you can't get better, but once you get to a certain rating, you are just stuck at that rating no matter what you do. Does that 'maximum' exist?

I believe FIDE ratings top out at 3000, but i could be wrong.

Yes, you are wrong as engines have FIDE 3300 (unless I am wrong and they are rated in other system).

To the OP, there is always room for improvement but wether you can actually improve is another bussines, so there is no maximum or magic barrier that will stop you from improving.

I stand corrected, there is no maximum ELO rating.
