pre moves shouldn't be allowed in blitz games, especially in the end game its bs.

If you move it should take time off the clock the end!

Fetoxo
It does take off time. 0.1 s

I think they allow a lot of moves before that happens I lost a game and there was no time coming off the clock for several moves.

Sololevelingsirjohn

Like 6 moves...

Fetoxo
If their timer was higher than 20 s, then you can't see the tenths of a second. It takes 1 tenth of a second.

ok thanks for the info.

Jayden3000

I won because of it

Anonymousplayer_796

Just because you lost doesn't mean it should not be allowed

Sololevelingsirjohn

No offense, just feels like a dirty way to win...

Jayden3000

Nah I was winning anyway

ChesscoachManu

When you have a forced mate or otherwise completely winning position and you are able to pre-move it all, then why would be a dirty way to win? I actually think that premoves should not take any time away at all, like on lichess

Fetoxo
I think it is not dirty. If you are faster, you win! This is bullet/blitz. If you don't like it, switch to rapid/daily!

All premoves take a minimum of 0.1 seconds.

medelpad
I like it, I win a lot of games I shouldn’t because of it
emilio1689

i think that people who like to win on time should quit chess and try athletics like 100 m running etc

I also pay close attention to the precision in the endgame and the speed of execution. Sometimes it can be a red flag for potential cheating. Consistent instant moves with high accuracy in critical positions are definitely suspicious.
Mazetoskylo

Online chess will never be real chess because of things like premoves, disallowance of illegal moves and (last but not least) rampant cheating.

TheCobraisaready

The one big thing which makes pre moving unfair is the fact it lags the other player

Each game should be a level playing field, pre moves in a scramble will always give that player an advantage, I mean if each move takes 0.5 or 0.6 throughout the game then all of a sudden the pre mover is making moves in 0.1 is an unfair advantage, especially if it's just mindless moves with no aim or actual intent to checkmate.
