I've read that it used to be common for chess students, especially Russian ones, to print chess diagrams and review them daily. It's supposed to help you to learn positional play and endgames. Apparently, some teacher even suggested posting them around your house such as on your fridge and whatnot. I don't really understand how simply seeing these diagrams is supposed to help you. Has anyone else heard of this method?
