I have noticed how the prize money for some of the major tournaments are quite a large amount for chess. I am not saying its a bad thing for all of that money as prize money. I am just stating that it is quite a lot of money for playing chess. Although it is playing chess but it is also being GOOD at playing chess in those tournaments. Do you think its a lot of money? Now by comparison to football, basketball, and baseball, it is nothing compared to their contract wages.
