probleem onvoldoende materiaal

Hallo, Ik ben nog maar een beginnen en begrijp 1 regel al totaal niet. Meermaals wordt het spel remise wegens onvoldoende materiaal.. en meestal ook in mijn nadeel :-) Hoe werkt dit juist? Soms heb ikzelf enkel de King over waar de tegenstander met 3 Queens kan uitpakken. Vanaf welk punt wordt de regel onvoldoende materiaal van toepassing? Antwoorden in het Frans en Engels zijn zeker ook welkom. Enkel waag ik me er niet aan om het te schrijven. Grtz Steven

I guess if your opponent times out, but you have insufficient material to checkmate them, it is a draw.

  1. hello, i'm just starting out and i don't understand 1 line at all anymore, the game draws away due to insufficient material and usually also to my disadvantage how does this work? point does the rule insufficient material apply? Answers in French and English are certainly also welcome, but I do not dare to write it.
