404 pops up when I try to upgrade, there is something going on and I am probably not the only person experiencing this I presume.

Oh how sad to hear this, I don't know if you experience the same bug but I have problems with the site for a couple of days too! I can not go to my profile, see any notes at groups and profiles and some buttons on the site do not work when clicking on it. Hopefully they'll solve it soon! :)

I cant log in to my first account it while reading a message it says oops account cannot authenticate with the server.
I have not tried that slow_pawn, I would have to download another browser.

yes. i use app while i experienced that. now im on browser and it says my account has been disabled. why?

It might be worth downloading a different browser, Taosmountain, just to see if it's the browser. I don't know for sure but it sounds like a browser issue to me.
There is a bug and having tons of problems with my site, Chess.com are not doing anything about it, this has been going on for days, cannot upgrade, no tactics or learn, just blank, other issues, not all stats showing, and freezing when playing and it is not my high speed internet that is the problem!
