problems with players playing white pieces

Most players who play and win with the white pieces run from rematch ..I am seeing this as reason why nobody want to play black. white always have the  undue advantage to decline or accept.. as it will preserve their ratings..For the interest of fair play ..to curb this, it would help if chess.com will review its data base who are the players who have been playing most of the time with the white pieces so that  ratio will be evenly distributed  this is to even up chances.  During Matching, 90 % of the time the black pieces end up with me. I don't  mind playing black as long as the other player show courtesy of declining a rematch with a reason but sadly , most of them leave and seek another match with other players to play white..

Well Thank You for starting this thread !!! I have had a thread going about those players who allways try to grab the White pieces. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has noticed this situation. Thanks again !

thank you for the support, i know there are lot of players out there who share the same sentiment. we hope that something will be instituted to correct the situation.it's for the good of everybody .

Yet you both have played more games with white than black.

Cabad you have played 135 games with white and only 129 with black.

While Phil Tirador has played 93 games with white and only 68 with black!

I have not noticed this with my own games.  Occasionally I decline a rematch because the opposite players' requests come with a 1 move per 3 days.  When I am my Iphone apps, there is not a request for an explanation.

AFAIK, the system gives everybody a near 50:50 rate of playing white and black, which doesn't have anything to do with rematches.

Sid ,your point well taken, the issue i am trying to raise is great numbers of players who win with white and run away from rematch .. you can't blame the preferences of those who want to play white because of the due advantage of declining or accepting rematch. as i am saying ,if a system will be in place to even the chances it will be a good development until then ,expect rejections of some players for the black.(especially when it comes in succession , say 3 games in a row with black)... Just giving insights.

OP,

Live Chess drains my brain and I sometimes don't have the mental energy to play more than one game in a row. So if I decline after winning as white, it's not because I'm scared to play black or want to preserve my rating; it's because I am mentally exhausted and need a break from chess. I try to play chess only when I am maxiamlly alert and able to focus. Taking a break in between games helps, so declining a rematch is nothing personal.
