You're opponent has at least 24 hours to make their move (depending on how you've set up the game). Also, even if you see that they are "on line", it doesn't mean they're actively playing. If someone were using a chess engine, it's pretty doubtful they'd need it for the second move, much less that it require them to use a lot of time.
It doesn't take much time to put a pgn into a program and ask for it's analysis.
Try not to get paranoid. Just enjoy your games.
