As several have pointed out to me (thanks lol), the USCF has re-rated my past tournaments and changed my peak rating from 2200 to 2199. I used to joke about this happening, and having the title revoked, but it seems like I get to keep it! I guess now there is extra incentive to get back to 2200.
From my last post about going for 2300, I don't have much of an update. After hitting a low of 2030 I've been slowly climbing back up. I'm now 2115 and am hoping to get up to 2150 soon. I've been playing a lot of blitz and tournament chess lately and feel like I'm getting into a good flow. We'll see how it plays out.
