I AM SORRY BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG
Can someone explain who are protected players, why are they protected, how they become protected, and how many games one has to play in order to challenge them? Thanks.
It means the titled get away with murder while the untitled are ignored by cheatteam and points NEVER capital N adjusted. That nasty chipmunk thinks he's 3350.
Thanks. Does anyone have an idea of how many games someone needs to have played in order to challenge a protected player?
Diamond members are also protected players I think? Found this out when my friend created a new account and tried to play me. I'd think players with memberships (Diamond, Platinum, Gold), as well as streamers, top players, and titled players, are protected.
Thanks. Again I have the same question as ezeldin1 and Hosf. Occasionally when I try to play someone in open challenges it says I have not played enough games to play this protected player. I am about a 1000 ELO player and the people I try to play have similar modest ratings.
MeanFreePath2 I don't think that's it, as I'm a diamond member myself. (Great name - physics major?) BTW this question is one of many I have about using the chess.com website, I have not yet found out where you look to figure out many basic things about using chess.com.

I am am a gold member and am not protected I think.
I was in the 'Open Challenges' section, and I decided to play against a Titled player, then this message popped up: You are unable to challenge Titled and other protected players until you have played more games.
I have been playing this variant (1|0 rated) for years, can anyone explain what's going on?
