I tend to agree . Many of the school shooters in the USA were on psychotropic drugs when they " went off " . Drugs like Ritalin and other psychotropic drugs used to treat problems that didnt seem to even exist when I was in school ..... strange indeed .

Yeah, because deranged lunatics are the measurement standard right? Most people against any medications aren't speaking from a position of experience. More due to rigid and naive idealism.
Were they deranged lunatics before or after being put on the medication ? If they were before then obviously we shouldnt put deranged lunatics on such medication , if they werent before then perhaps the medication was even responsible ? In either case it seems to me we shouldnt be putting kids on psychotropic drugs ! Inescapable logic !

And how do you know they wouldn't have done it anyway? In any case my point stands. These cases aren't particularly relevant. I'd like to bet 99.99% of medication takers aren't these types.

Hard to believe but I wouldn't know. As far as prescribing children, again I wouldn't know but I wasn't referencing that viewpoint in particular. More the "drugs are a hoax" type, which is nonsense.

pharmaceutical companies earn well over 1 trillion a year, with a 22% too 25% compound global growth of prescription usage. "rigid and naive idealism" ? Really ? lol
how about logical commonsense, rational intuition, sensible observation, and a healthy respect for scientific fact and nature.
if you believe pills are a cure for life, you are the idealist ... every realist knows there is no cure... yet thats the promise of all pharma propoganda.
the main mental disorders such as depression are not an illness in my culture any more than love or joy ... at least for the past 6000 years anyway... its a part of life, an emotional part.
but pills do not cure depression any more than foolishness or love or ADHD.. depression is the result of endless variables ... living a life without meaning, poor attitude, low self value, a poor environment, a poor idiotic diet, growing up getting twigs shoved up your bum by your fat sister... or a genetic defect in chemical balance .. one of the great hopes for inpsired creation.
even if you could 'cure' depression with a pill (which you cant) its a silly short sighted objective... you might reduce a possible problem, but you insure the destruction of much more.
pharmaceutical companies wanting to turn everyone into robots have been spending 300 billion a year telling the world they should all be happy and calm ... its nonsense, you should not be happy and calm, any more than a cat should be sweet and kind, or a dolphin calm and cool ... besides, the world is way better with crazy auntys yelling at airport workers, and creepy buggers flashing their jelly bean at little kids .. happy and calm is the death of all hope .. and when we get very good at making pills 100 years from now, you can bet they will have a pill to cure free choice and every other fiber of the human soul.
pharmaceutical companies already have more wealth and power than entire continents ... in a nut shell, the small bandages they might provide are not worth the horrors they guarantee
their 'cures' make up less than 1% of the annual revenues .. the very last thing they sell are cures... they spend more than 1% just defending their legal right to not cure.
