Please, do yourselves a favour and check it out: https://chessconnect.de/

At long last I'm able to play chess on here with my DGT e-board.

Chessnut users are saying it is far superior to the manufacturers app to .

It seems to me that just about all the boards are supported.

Thanks.

The boards all seem to be too small for my liking. I would prefer a real FIDE sized board. I don't know why they are marketing ChessUp 2 now with such small pieces and board size. If I could get a regular sized board at the $200 asking price, I might do that. They also have a deal if you order 2. Would definitely consider it. However, with the size as it is, it's a definite no.

I am surprised they aren't asking for feedback before actually starting it. For example, there doesn't need to be a "cross" on each square. I would want to place a piece on one square without the lines. Second, why are they marketing a gray and black board? I would love to see a wooden set.

1) Remove the lines, 2) Add wooden set, 3) Make the board and pieces FIDE regulated size and you got something worth selling.

The thing is, I have a Pegasus and a DGT smart board, which is tournament size. And I agree, the smaller boards just don't give the same experience. However, the tournament boards take up a lot of space. And because you can't pick your colour on here, you have to find a way to orientate your board or yourself when the game starts which is a challenge, especially when using a clock attached to the board. This is a much greater issue with a full size board.

So, there is method in their madness. It's not practical either to have a full size board on your computer desk, for example.
I have a table set up as if two people are going to play, I stand up when I issue a game seek request and sit in the appropriate chair once the game begins. It's a bit of a chore, but worth it for me.
But there you go, horses for courses.

I am not seeing the problem. Take your pick of table.

This table is round, but you could make a square one that spins.
