Bro it's called dignity, some guys just hate surrendering and fight until the last pawn. I personally hate people that resign in mate in 1, something about the feeling of mating someone is just satisfying

I find it borderline disrespectful. Almost pathetic, really. Do you honestly think I'm going to stalemate you, despite having over 30 seconds on the clock, a piece and a pawn up, in a completely winning endgame? That's a mockery of my intelligence. Maybe these "never resign" people need to grow a pair, and accept defeat like a real man, and admit that they've been utterly outplayed and humiliated. I've also noticed many of these "players" refuse to rematch after the game. Really soy. Something about them screams "low testosterone" to me...

Almost ever week, I play someone who refuses to resign and refuses to move after I have a clearly winning position. So I have to wait until I win on time or the game is abandoned. This shows no sportsmanship or integrity for the game of chess. They are just being a-holes. How about giving the player 3 to 5 minutes to make a move when they are down by a significant margin, then abandon after that instead of having to wait 15 or 20 minutes?
Guys, just take the W and move on with your life.
