Translation: well-known troll plays a scripted game where he plays an objectively terrible opening and his opponent throws the game, then one of his poorly-disguised alt accounts leaves an upvote and a few emotes showing their "support."

Edit: And then he and his aforementioned poorly-disguised alt downvote my comment to complete the sequence.

Go look at the games, literally a different opponent every time. You going to say they're all throwing games against me?

I think that you have made a forum like this at least 3 times.

That is the best advice ever for playing chess. I'm gonna adopt it and soar to GM in a week or two.

lol, I love it. I’m in board with Fr3nchToastCruch though

The engine doesn't love your position after 7. Kc3 but it's an interesting game. Thanks for sharing. A player with good board vision and pattern recognition (better than mine!) can definitely win like this in faster time controls. I don't think that makes this a good method for improvement. Weaker players may hang even more pieces (or mate) this way.

Well thank you for making me lose some brain cells.

Oh I was wondering it was the first time I saw him with upvotes lol but good for him if he likes to play like and as he is better rated his advice MUST be fantastic

maybe he doesn't have to share it with us and considering it as the highway to 2400 though

I literally back up my claims with screen shots and results and people call that troll? My alt is over 2200 live blitz already and you can see the games are not staged.

This is good advice. Here's a master level game to help prove the point.

Here's one of mine, it ended in a draw, but I had a winning position. The time constraint gave me difficulty finding the win, so I took the draw.

Just a question why do your knights look like horses and bishop like knights can you choose this in any menu I don't know ?

Avatar of nonotrocosto2011

Yes, this is a setting I changed. Go to settings > board and pieces

Silman covers this nonsense in Reassess your Chess.

It only works in blitz against a slow and drunk/ high/half-asleep opponent.

The engine likes the position because you've gained space and opened lines. But Silman says it fails because black only needs a few moves to slip behind the lines and undermine the position. The "advantage" doesn't hold, because pawns can't back up.
