same with me... my uscf is 970 and my puzzles is 1906
my blitz is 800, my rapid is 720
My puzzle rating on Chess.com is 2000+. However, in my 10min games I cannot reach 1600... What am I doing wrong? How do I bridge that gap? Is a 10 mins too short of a game to find/apply tactics? NOTE: I believe that I have some decent understanding of opening/middle game theory/strategy.
that's not abnormal. when I was 1800 my puzzles was 2600.

i dont have nothing to say because your stats are normal but keep note that a 200 otb tactical rise in seeing tactics is like a 500 point on puzzles.
Mine is even worse! 2000+ puzzle rating. But 750 in 3 min, and 900 in 1 min games 😭
lol i only play bullet and do puzzles and my bullet rating is 300 (i know i know i suck) but my puzzle rating is 2002 currently. some people know tactics but do poorly when under pressure. thats just the opinion of a 300 rated player though so take it as you will lmao

no you're not, most people have much higher puzzles than rapid rating (my puzzles is 3000 but rapid is like 1300)
The rated puzzles on chess.com must be inaccurate idk
people tend to make better moves in a position when they know there's a tactic somewhere

I dropped 200 in two sessions, falling below 3000 again after hitting a new peak of 3232.
Im a 1200 in 10 minute games and a 2300 rating in puzzles, im constantly climbing in puzzles tho. I just hit 2000 a couple months ago. I get bored waiting in rapid and dont even see them move
just dont do PUZZLES!!!!!!!!!!
