To paraphrase Bruce Lee, puzzles don’t fight back. A player can make wholly unexpected moves. Moreover, puzzles often start you in an advantageous position. It’s up to the player to get to that position in a game
For puzzle, you should multiply by 21. Top score has a 66k+ rating for puzzles.
I know there is generally a gap between puzzle ratings and live ratings, but my gap seems abnormally huge. Over 1,100 points. My highest puzzle rating is 2319, but I struggle to get to 1200 in 10 minute rapid. I also watch live streamers online and players at my rating make so many horrible mistakes that they never seem to make when I'm playing them. Sometimes I wonder if I'm using a different rating system. But that is likely a cope for me being frustrated that I can't get past 1200. Is there something I'm missing here?
