I wasn't talking to you, but okay. Season points do carry an importance.(You have way more than me, btw) If you look at the leader board, you will see people with lots of season points. The leader board resets every month. You earn them whether you win or lose. If you want more info on season points, or puzzle battles in general, read this chess.com support article.
Puzzle Rush Tips
my rush streak is 23
Nice
That is really high for a rapid rating around 1000 rating. In fact, the majority of chess players probably get less than 30 consistently - 23 is a pretty good record to begin with. Keep at it!
I have 2 probs with puzzle rush
1 poor connection
2 failure to look at full board [peripheral vision]
I always start slower than my opponent in puzzle battle though eventually win if I am a lot stronger. In sizing up the posish I look at the scene of action and miss a bishop or rook on the edge of the board.
Apparently studies show that long diagonals are the one's hardest to see. And so, a strategy I started using on puzzles (I just did my first puzzle rush last night) was to specifically look for where all the bishops on the board were, and then look at the rest of the board. It helped. I see bishops better.
