Puzzle Rush to break tied positions in daily tournaments?

How about using Puzzle Rush (or some similar timed competition) to resolved tied spots in daily tournaments (if tiebreakers don't come to a conclusion)?

Personally, I hate the idea that all tied players advance so much, thereby ruining the structure of the tournament pattern, that I'd happily just have a coin flip to break ties. Using a puzzle competition at least tests a player's abilities, while being quick.

Sound like a good idea !

Every now and the, I try to start a conversation for this matter, but I rarely get support. Thanks for responding, Marc.

Ultimately, it shouldn't matter because I rarely advance anyway!

I'm in the minority about being annoyed at odd numbers of players advancing which is unfortunate. There could be an endless number of tiebreakers used instead of limiting it to just one rather convoluted one in use now. One day, Chess.com will get it right. Hopefully.

An option could be offered to the tournament creator, as there are now for vacations, whether tiebreakers are used or not. There could be an option for playoff and what type if necessary. If you don't like it, you wouldn't have to join that particular tournament.
