Hi everybody!
Sending private messages to push for a match is not only timeconsuming.
If you do it too often, many members will ignore them or even leave the
group cause they feel disturbed.
Another consequence: Many admins of other (normally strong and active)
groups don't invest time in private messages. That makes these groups
fall at least partially asleep.
So finally even the choice is reduced for those admins who invest much
time in private messages to find good opponents for interesting
(difficult) matches.
So if the life in and between groups shall remain as good as it was
as long all members had been automatically messaged by chess.com in
case of a group news, we must exactly return to these circumstances.
Please - it's urgent !

Hi Everyone
The last 2 months it have been very frustrating to be an admin for a chess group. Im Admin in several.
The thing that frustrate me is the communication with the members. And the NEWS THREAD!
Everytime the group have a new Team match ready for register every members get the message about the match.
Normaly its neccessary to have a reminder to the members about the match to ensure more members to join.
The way we commincated with the members was to create news threads that was received as private message. This was highly effective. But the news threads does not work as a Message anymore. earlier we could have 100 reads within 2 days, but now we have 10-20 reads within a week.
I really want the news thread to work as it did before.
Now we have to send private message to our members to push for a match. This is timeconsuming.
I hope anyone with information about this matter can reply.
