yes you can for sure :)
Please god no do not encourage spamming
Facebook is LARGER than chess.com. You would better off posting about Chess.com ON FB. You can post a link to FB on your "profile" page, and on your "about me" page. If it was up to me, I'd say YES simple because you had the manners I mean the GAUL to ask permission.
cmon this is a chess activity and nothing else... u can
BS it's spam. There's even a thread on this site that staff monitors for reporting spam, even "chess related" (for instance some guy going on and on about how his opening system can beat today's strongest chess engines). Staff obviously doesn't want spam so quit encouraging it.
I don't think this falls under the definition of spam, no. If you start posting over all sorts of other threads or creating a dozen of them, then yes, but just to post in this thread or make a new one shouldn't be a problem. I guess if you want to be extra certain you could ask in the report spam thread.
Creating a thread letting people know about your Facebook page is fine, as is including a blurb about it in your profile description: links are okay in those contexts too.
Spam is when you start advertising it repeatedly in multiple places, and especially if you start doing it in completely unrelated topics.
If you start offering services in competition with Chess.com, then it would start to come under our policy of not discussing our competitors in our discussion forums, but I don't think that will be an issue in this case.
Greetings to everyone on chess.com.
Before I post something that may not be allowed to do in the chess.com forums, I would like to confirm if I can do so. I have recently started a Facebook page called 'Chess Coaching in Bangalore' which is aimed at offering training to beginners and intermediate players. I wanted to know if It would be okay for me to post the link to my Facebook page over here in the chess.com forums. The intention is to increase my page visibility and especially reach out to my fellow indian chess players that we have here on chess.com. Please advise
