I thought I read somewhere that if the position ends up K + R v K + R then a player with 2 minutes or less on his clock can claim a draw. The reasoning being that their opponent is not making reasonable efforts to win the game. I acknowledge that anyone can blunder the rook away so it can be argued that it's acceptable to play on but in reality that's not going to happen. Does anyone know if this is true?
