I typically block the chat at the first rude or obnoxiuos remark. I am here to play a fun game of chess with a little appropriate chat during the game.

Some of the questions are a bit vague, making me look like more of a saint than I really am. For example one of the questions asks, "What do you do if your opponent is playyyyyyying exttemelyyyyyy slowwwwwwwww?"
In a tournament, this is good for you, so I would obviously say nothing. If the guy is a nice guy or a new player, I will inform them if they made a move and forgot to press their clock. But if it's a jerk, then I'll just stare at the board like I'm confused and trying to think of a good move while it takes them like 5-10 minutes to realize that their clock is ticking.
Based on the choices available, of course I'm going to offer the person tissues if they're sneezing/coughing. I don't want germy pieces. Of course, if they refuse to use them, I will probably call the TD.
If my opponent has no chance of winning, but keeps playing, of course I'll keep playing if it's a rated/tournament game, but secretly in my head, I'll be drumming my fingers as I go through the motions of winning, even though my outward demeanor will be nice.
And it really is to your advantage when you see your own blunders to sit tight and shut up. Just because it's obvious to you at the moment, doesn't mean your opponent sees it, especially if it's a combo. I've played my best poker face in tournaments, and have won games that way. I mean, if we could all see all the mistakes on the board so obviously, then we could be playing casual games with Kasparov on our free time. But playing well, even when you play bad, is a needed skill in OTB, much less so than online, when you can go, "Oh crap, I can't believe I hung my Rook!! If my opponent sees it, I'll resign asap."
