"move not submitted, page not current "

I haven't been a member of chess.com for long, just a few months. First, I like it a lot and think it's great. I just had something happen and I'm not sure why. I was working on a game and made a "move;" recorded in blue on the screen. I looked at the move, decided it was bad, and made another move. I clicked on "submit move" and a msg appeared saying the move wasn't recorded; "the page was not current." So I attempted to refresh the page, (or I may have hit "previous page,") and the next page showed the previous move, the  move I "took back" as having been submitted!??! It's no big deal; I make bad moves often, lol, but I did something wrong,,or not. This is just an observation and again, all things considered, this a great site, great fun and very entertaining.  ideas?

It depends... You should check the "click-move" setting that sets if you need or not to click on "submit move" to play it.

I'm not sure at all that's the cause, but you should check this first.

Tks Irontiger, my "online" settings are set to require a click on the sumit button. I have seem that msg today, "move not recorded, page not current" a couple of times. For now, I'm just going to close the broswer and restart. It might have something to do with my ISP; it's a Sat based system; not the most reliable. Just thought others might have seen that msg before....

I've had that a few times when my connection is dodgy.
